Courtney L. Lynch

President and Funeral Director - FDR #1819

Courtney L. Lynch is the President and Managing Funeral Director of C. L. Lynch Mortuary. Mr. Lynch has worked in the Funeral Industry for over 30 years. He is a California state-licensed funeral director, embalmer, and life insurance agent. Mr. Lynch earned a Bachelor of Art's in Biblical Studies and an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science.


Mr. Lynch managed a funeral home for the world's largest Funeral Corporation for over 12 years. He is the past president of the Orange Belt Funeral Directors Association, a National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association (NFD & MA), a Selected Independent Funeral Homes member, and a licensed Elder in the Church of God in Christ. He is also the author of the book, "I'm a Survivor, My COVID Journey".

Evelyn D. Lynch, MA

Evelyn D. Smith-Lynch serves as Vice President and Licensed Funeral Director at C. L. Lynch Mortuary Inc., where she offers support to families with compassion, professionalism, steady guidance, and personal care. Evelyn brings a calm, thoughtful presence to families during some of life’s most tender moments.


With more than 35 years of customer relationship management and leadership experience, Evelyn brings patience, clarity, and a heart for serving the unique needs of every family. Her background includes more than 32 years with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, along with degrees in Business Administration and Business Management, a masters degree in Organizational Leadership, and a Certificate in Biblical Studies.


Grounded in faith, family, and purpose, Evelyn views funeral service as both a calling and a ministry of care. She is also active in mentoring, community outreach, and nonprofit service throughout Los Angeles County.
