Gregory Alan Neunsinger, 65, passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2026, in the loving arms of his wife. He was born in New Ulm Minnesota on October 30, 1960.

Gregory was a hardworking, frugal, strong, and intelligent man with a wonderful sense of humor. He attended college at Southwest Minnesota State University and earned degrees in microbiology and chemistry, reflecting his intelligence, curiosity, and dedication to learning. He was not simply a hardworking man who provided a roof over his family's heads; he was the anchor of their entire household. He loved his family with quiet, steady strength and possessed the kind of willpower that could move mountains. Everything he did, he did for those he loved.

Gregory was deeply proud of maintaining his sobriety for more than 17 years. This remarkable achievement reflected his strength, determination, perseverance, and commitment to his family. His children and grandchildren were at the heart of his life.

Dad never met a motorcycle ride he didn't want to take, a grandchild he didn't want to spoil, or many reasons to sit still. If the sun was shining, there was a good chance he was on the open road, enjoying the freedom of two wheels and the wind in his face. He also enjoyed going to car shows, spending time on his computer, cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, and listening to folk and rock-and-roll music.

If Gregory wasn't riding, he was probably spending time with his grandchildren. He loved teasing them, playfully tugging on their ears, and chasing them around the house while they laughed together. Those joyful moments captured his playful spirit and will remain treasured memories for his family.

Gregory was also known for his sweet tooth. After finishing a good meal, he would often laugh and say, "This sure is better than being hungry."

Gregory is survived by his loving wife, Jammi Neunsinger; his children, William Neunsinger, Lucas Neunsinger, Javin Neunsinger, Anna Potter, and Adreona Jones; his grandchildren, AJ Dunford, Lola Dunford, and Mia Jennings, Genesis Arredondo; and his siblings, Julie Neunsinger, Kevin Neunsinger, Mikey Neunsinger, and Mary Remmers.

More than anything, Gregory's family wants him to be remembered for the kind of man he was. His legacy is not measured only by what he built or provided, but by the fierce, protective love he left in the hearts of his family. His strength will continue to steady them, his laughter will remain in their memories, and his love will always be part of who they are.

We take comfort in imagining that he has found the perfect highway in the sky, with an endless stretch of open road ahead and no speed limits in sight.

In honor of Dad, take a motorcycle ride, tell a joke, spoil your grandchildren, and cherish the people you love. That is exactly what he would have wanted.

You can rest now, Dad. We will be okay down here because you taught us how to be strong.

As I sit in Heaven and watch you every day, I try to let you know with signs that I never went away.

I hear you when you're laughing, and I watch you as you sleep. I even place my arms around you to comfort you as you weep.

I see you wishing days away, begging to have me home, so I try to send you signs to show you're not alone.

Don't feel guilty that you have the life that was denied to me. Heaven is truly beautiful - just you wait and see.

So live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free. Then I'll know that with each breath you take, you'll be taking one for me.
